We are so excited to start our events again and be back at the beautiful Accrington Town Hall. Joined by our judges Natasha, Talisha & Special K, once again we are looking forward to an action packed day of Solos, Duos & Team sections for all ages!
We have now processed the entries for this event and are able to bring you a full schedule, age categories and some more information. Please see below the info you need to help you plan your time with us. The day will be split into 4 main sections (7 years & under, 8 & 9 years (& parents), 10 & 11 years, 12 years & over) with a couple of presentations across each section to cater for dancers that overlap in more than one section.
To help minimise the number of attendees in the room at once, please can we kindly ask that attendees where possible only attend for the sections they are involved in (rather than staying for the full day to watch all ages). If you do arrive early for your section, it would be a great help if you could wait in the new café area downstairs until attendees from the previous section start to leave. Please note that due to the new layout for seating in the room, if you arrive whilst a team section are dancing, we may ask you to wait downstairs for a few minutes until they have finished that section.
We suggest where possible that attendees arrive for their section no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the timetable.
Accrington town hall postcode– BB5 1LA
Parking- As the venue is in the town centre, there is lots of on street parking around the venue, most of which is free on Sundays.
Food & Drink Policy– The venue has a bar serving hot & cold drinks all day. Hot dogs will be available and a tuck shop. Packed lunches are permitted to be brought inside the ballroom but can we kindly ask everyone to clear away any rubbish before they leave. Please don’t bring hot takeaway food or drink inside. Downstairs at the venue is a café area also serving drinks and this is also a good area to wait if you arrive before your section starts to help us reduce the people in the main room.
Wristbands– Please have your wristbands on and fastened securely before entering the building. Lost, damaged or forgotten wristbands will not be replaced and will have to be re-purchased. Please see our full wristband policy on the website.
There will be a limited number of wristbands available on the door priced at £22- priority access will be given to those who have a wristband in advance.
Photo/Video Policy- A reminder that you are permitted to take photographs and videos of your own dancers whilst they are performing solos & duos. If anyone objects to this, please see us prior to the start of the event. For teams, strictly only 1 nominated person is allowed to record at this time.
Allocated Seating- All seating will be reserved clearly with your dance school name.
Merchandise– our merchandise stall will be there in the foyer with some brand new items for 2023!
