OTB Street Dance Competition December 2022 – Accrington Town Hall
Joined by our judges Dre, Arran & Yazmin, we are super excited to host a Saturday evening event in the beautiful Accrington Town Hall.. We hope you will join us getting into the Christmas spirit and we would love to see everyone in the Christmas jumpers & accessories!!!
We have now processed the entries for this event and are able to bring you a full schedule, age categories and some more information. Please see below the info you need to help you plan your time with us. You will see we have all age groups together for this event and will run solos first followed by teams & duos plus a couple of surprise fun events which will be announced on the evening.
Accrington town hall postcode– BB5 1LA
Parking- As the venue is in the town centre, there is lots of on street parking around the venue, most of which is free on Sundays.
Food & Drink Policy– The venue has a bar serving hot & cold drinks all day. Hot dogs will be available and a tuck shop. Packed lunches are permitted to be brought inside the ballroom but can we kindly ask everyone to clear away any rubbish before they leave. Please don’t bring hot takeaway food or drink inside. Downstairs at the venue is a new large café area also serving drinks.
Wristbands– Please have your wristbands on and fastened securely before entering the building. Lost, damaged or forgotten wristbands will not be replaced and will have to be re-purchased. Please see our full wristband policy on the website.
There will be a limited number of wristbands available on the door priced at £20- priority access will be given to those who have a wristband in advance.
Photo/Video Policy- A reminder that you are permitted to take photographs and videos of your own dancers whilst they are performing solos & duos. If anyone objects to this, please see us prior to the start of the event. For teams, strictly only 1 nominated person is allowed to record at this time.
Allocated Seating- All seating will be reserved clearly with your dance school name.
Merchandise– our merchandise stall will be there in the foyer
4.25pm- Teacher access only
4.30pm- Doors open for dancers & spectators. Warm up
5.10pm- Introduce judges and safety announcements
5.15pm- All solo events (set routines & freestyle solo)
Presentation of all solo events
7.30pm- All team events
Fun events (to be announced on the night)
Presentation of teams, duos & fun events
9pm– Approx finish time
