Always great to be in Manchester at one of our favourite venues! This is one of our main events suitable for a mix of levels between Beginner- Advanced.

Dancers of all ages can get involved in the various sections we have at this event including

x 1 Set Routine Solo Event
x 1 Freestyle Solo Event
x 1 Team Event
x 1 Duo Event

The schedule for the day…

7.55am – Teachers only may enter ballroom (must be wearing a teacher wristband- teachers please see us on the stage as soon as you arrive to collect all dancers numbers)

8.00am– Ballroom doors open for all dancers & spectators

8.40am– Introduce judges & safety announcements

8.45am- All Section 1 teams in the following order
– 7 years & under beginner teams
– 9 years & under beginner teams
– 11 years & under beginner teams
– 9 years & under intermediate teams
– Presentation of all above teams

9.45am- All set routines for age 11 & under
– Presentation of all set routines for age 11 & under

11.30 am– All freestyle solo for age 11 & under
Presentation of all freestyle solo for age 11 & under

1pm– All duos for age 11 & under
Parents solo events
– Presentation of all duo events for age 11 & under & parents solo events

Break

2pm– All 12 & over teams in the following order
– 13 years & under beginner teams
– 15 years & under beginner teams
– 16 years & over beginner teams
–  13 years & under intermediate teams
– 15 years & under intermediate teams
– 16 years & over intermediate teams
– Parents teams

-Presentation of all above teams

3pm- All set routines for age 12 & over
– Presentation of all set routines for age 12 & over

4.15pm– All advanced freestyle solo for age 12 & over
– Presentation of all advanced freestyle solo for age 12 & over

4.30pm– All class member, beginner & intermediate solo freestyle for age 12 & over

Elite all stars
–Presentation of all class member, beginner & intermediate solo freestyle for age 12 & over & elite all stars

5.30pm– All duos for age 12 & over
– Presentation of all duos for age 12 & over

Approx finish time- 6.15pm

Please see below some other useful information to help you plan your day…

Food & drink policy– The venue has a bar serving hot & cold drinks all day. Hot food will also be available (bacon & sausage sandwiches, chips, chip sandwiches,  jumbo hot dogs, cold sandwiches etc). Packed lunches are permitted to be brought inside the ballroom but can we kindly ask everyone to clear away any rubbish before they leave. Please don’t bring hot takeaway food inside.

Wristbands– Please have your wristbands on and fastened securely before entering the building. Lost, damaged or forgotten wristbands will not be replaced and will have to be re-purchased.  Please see our full wristband policy on the website. Tickets will be available on the door @ £22.50.

Photo/video policy- A reminder that you are permitted to take photographs and videos of your own dancers whilst they are performing solos & duos. If anyone objects to this, please see us prior to the start of the event. For teams, strictly only 1 nominated person is allowed to record at this time.

Allocated seating- All seating will be reserved clearly with your dance school name.

Parking- The venue has a large pay & display car park. Its free for 3 hours on weekends but you still must display a ticket from when you arrive (even if staying under 3 hours). The machine accepts cash & card. Address for car park is New Radcliffe Street, Oldham, OL1 1NL

Merchandise– Our merchandise stall will be there on the day with brand new lines!

Finallly, please see below the age categories for all the solo events on the day which are beased on the entries received (please note these may differ slightly to the original programme).  As we don’t take duo entries in advance, these will match what is on our programme.
